Fake website selling AFF Suzuki Cup final tickets detected

A fake website was found to sell online football tickets for the upcoming second leg of the final match between Vietnam and Malaysia in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018, according to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Hanoi (VNA) - A fake website was found to sell online football tickets forthe upcoming second leg of the final matchbetween Vietnam and Malaysia in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018, according to theVietnam Football Federation (VFF).

The VFF warns that the fake site is at //vebongonline.com.vn, registeredby the company iNET. It has the interface design is exactly like the website ofonline football tickets sale of the federation.

Fans must be vigilant and alert to avoid being scammed, itsaid.

The VFF affirmed that it cooperated only with GMO-Z.comRUNSYSTEM JSC to sell online football tickets for matches in the AFF Suzuki Cup2018 football in two sites //vebongdaonline.vn and //vebongdaonline.com.vn.

Both of these were registered with the Department of E-commerce andDigital Economy under the Ministry of Industryand Trade (MoIT), the federation said, adding that it and GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEMare not responsible for transactions on fraudulent websites.

The VFF recommends fans to visit its website at www.vff.org.vnto go to the official ticketing pages.

Tickets for the upcoming second leg of the final match between Vietnam andMalaysia in the AFF Suzuki Cup have been officially sold online from 10:00 amof December 10.

Fans can buy tickets in four timeslots, namely 10am,4pm, and 10pm on December 10 and 10am on December 11.

Tickets cost 200,000 VND (8.6 USD), 350,000 VND (15 USD),500,000 VND (21.5 USD) and 600,000 VND (25.8 USD).

Each individual can buy a maximum of twotickets, with both tickets in the same price tier. Fans will need to pay bycard and provide a phone number, an email address and an ID card number whenbuying tickets online.

The second leg of the final will begin at 19:30at Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium on December 15.-VNA
