FAHASA ranks among the top 500 Asia – Pacific retailers

The Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Joint Stock Company (FAHASA) has been listed as one of the top 500 retailers in the Asia – Pacific region in 2013 by Singapore-based Retail Asia magazine.
The Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Joint Stock Company (FAHASA) hasbeen listed as one of the top 500 retailers in the Asia – Pacific regionin 2013 by Singapore-based Retail Asia magazine.

This is thefourth year FAHASA to be named in the Retail Asia – Pacific Top 500list, which has been released annually since 2004.

The rankingsare based on independent surveys of the market research firmEuromonitor International Inc. of businesses’ performance from 14regional economies including Australia, China, India, Hong Kong,Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore,Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, China’s Taiwan, Thailand,and Vietnam.

FAHASA has also made up top 10 retailers in Vietnam this year.

In the first nine months of 2013, the company’s revenue reached 1,200billion VND (57.1 million USD) and is expected to record 1.600 billionVND (76.2 million USD) this year, a 5 percent increase from 2012.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
