Eximbank gives backing to national football events

The Import-Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) will sponsor all professional national football events this year.
The Import-Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) will sponsor all professional national football events this year.

It is the third time Eximbank has been the main sponsor for thenational football league. However, in addition to the V-League, Eximbankwill also sponsor the National First Division this year.

V-League 2012 is scheduled to take place from March 2 to August 25 withthe participation of 12 clubs who will play in a two-round league format(home-away).

The winner will receive 4 billion VND (190,000USD), while the runners-up will get 2 billion VND (95,000 USD) and 1billion VND (47,000 USD) respectively.

Meanwhile, the champions of the National First Division Football Tournament and National Cup will get 47,000 USD each.-VNA
