Exhibitions mark Party’s 90th founding anniversary

Son La (VNA) – The establishment and development of the CommunistParty of Vietnam (CPV) in the past nine decades are featured at an exhibition thatopened in the northern mountainous province of Son La on January 16.

The month-long event, held by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports andTourism, aims to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Party(February 3, 1930-2020).

On display are more than 200 photos and documents highlighting the country’s historicalevents since the establishment of the CPV as well as the development of theprovincial Party Committee through different stages.

The same day, the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum opened the exhibition “Aneternal spring” in Hanoi to mark the CPV’s 90th founding anniversaryand welcome the traditional Lunar New Year 2020.

Fifty nine art works were created in various materials like lacquer, oil, silk,watercolour, and sculpture by 54 renowned artists such as Tran Van Can, BuiXuan Phai, Tran Luu Hau and Nguyen Luong Tieu Bach, among others. They reflectthe country’s significant achievements in the fight for national independence,as well as historical sites associated with the CPV and Uncle Ho.

The exhibition offers free entry for the public in the capital city, and willrun until December 28 at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum, No.66 NguyenThai Hoc street.

While in Vinh Phuc province, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism joinedhands with the provincial People’s Committee to organize an exhibitionintroducing 160 propaganda posters on the significance of the CPV establishmentand the glorious tradition of the Party in the past 90 years.

The exhibits were selected from 365 placards created by 289 professional andamateur artists from 46 cities and provinces across the nation./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
