Moscow (VNA) – ♌An exhibition entitled “Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam – Russia friendship” opened in Moscow, Russia on May 17.

The event celebrates the 128th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (1890 - 2018) and the 95th year since he first came to Russia. On display are nearly 150 documents, photos and other exhibits. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from the Presidential Palace Historical Site in Hanoi, the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia, the Vietnamese Association in Russia, along with members of Russian organisations and war veterans, among others. At the event, participants highlighted the role of President Ho Chi Minh in national liberation and building, as well as the two countries’ friendship. He arrived in Russia in June 1925 and spent six years living and working in the country, excluding the time he visited the country as the President of Vietnam.  The exhibition aims to introduce the activities of President Ho Chi Minh with Russian leaders and people to local people, contributing to the growth of relations between Vietnam and Russia.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
