Bac Giang (VNA) – A photoand document exhibition on ethnic and religious affairs was opened at the museumof northern Bac Giang province on December 7.

The event, organised by the Ministryof Information and Communications and the provincial People’s Committee,features more than 200 documentary photos, objects, videos, books, andnewspapers about ethnic and religious affairs.

They give visitors an insight into thesolidarity, creativity, integration, and sustainable development in ethnicminority communities; the religions and beliefs in Vietnam; the fight againstthe abuse of ethnic and religious issues; and the ethnic groups and religionsin Bac Giang.

The display aims to help maintain andbring into play the values of historical and cultural traditions of Vietnam,strengthen the solidarity among ethnic groups and religions in socio-economicdevelopment and national safeguarding, and step up the dissemination of informationabout ethnic groups, their history and culture, along with the Party’sviewpoints and the State’s policies and laws on ethnic and religious affairs.

It will run through December 9. After that,all the exhibits will be handed over to Bac Giang to serve communications work inthe province./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
