Exhibition of Central Highlands culture opens

Over 300 artifacts from Central Highland ethnic groups belonging to collector Nguyen Van Hai are on display at a museum in Can Tho city from October 14-17.

The exhibition features the unique cultural characteristics of ethnicgroups from the Central Highlands as it spotlights hunting tools, livingutensils, musical instruments and traditional costumes. There is also anumber of photographs portraying the lives of the different ethnicgroups.

Hai, a member of the Ho Chi Minh CityArtifact Collectors’ Association, said that the event honours theCentral Highland’s cultural heritages and calls upon the public to joinin efforts to protect the region’s heritages which are at risk of beinglost forever./.
