An exhibition featuring Vietnam’s generals in two resistance wars against the French and American troops commenced at the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi on December 20.
Hanoi (VNA) – An exhibition featuring Vietnam’s generals intwo resistance wars against the French and American troops commenced at theVietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi on December 20.
More than 200 photos, documents, and objects on display depict the careof the Party, State, and late President Ho Chi Minh to generals of the VietnamPeople’s Army in the resistance wars, and capture the generals in major fightsand battle fields in the wars.
The event marked the 74th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’sArmy and the 29th anniversary of All-people Defence Festival.
Director of the Museum Mai Thi Ngoc said the exhibition manifests thetribute to the generals who rendered services to the resistance wars.
It aims to impart the national pride and patriotism to the armed forces andpeople, especially young generation, to resolutely safeguard the homeland inthe new circumstances.
