Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) on September 9 launched the EVNSOLAR platform at //solar.evn.com.vn to assist potential investors, both households and enterprises, in accessing this type of power source.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) on September 9 launched the EVNSOLARplatform at //solar.evn.com.vn to assist potential investors, both households and enterprises, inaccessing this type of power source.

The platformprovides comprehensive solutions meeting the needs of potential investors, andconnects investors with prestigious contractors as well as banks and financialorganisations.

After a project iscompleted, its investor will be given an account on the platform to assess thequality of products and services of involved contractors. 

The Government’spolicies to encourage the development of renewable energy have successfullyfuelled the rapid development of projects in the field.

As of the start ofSeptember, nearly 50,000 roof-top solar power projects with total capacity ofclose to 1,200 MWp had been completed and put into operation across the country.

With millions ofprivate houses and buildings, there is tremendous potential for the developmentof roof-top solar energy in Vietnam./.

☂ Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
