E-Mart, a Korean retail giant, opened its first Pho restaurant at asupermarket in Goyang city in the Gyeonggi province on June 30.
E-Mart CEO Lee Gab-soo said the move is designed to promote Vietnamese cuisine and food products.
According to him, to preserve the original flavour, four chefs andall ingredients at the restaurant are from Vietnam . If the modeloperates successfully, it will be replicated at other E-martsupermarkets.
