The PCB plant was completed in March, 2012 and uses raw sliced cassava to produce ethanol.
Itsoutput is 100,000 cu.m. a year, of which 5,000 cu.m., or 5 percent, isfor the domestic market, while 95 percent is exported to marketsoverseas, mainly the Philippines .
Ethanol is used to produce the biofuel E5, which is used in internal combustion engines such as motorcycles and cars.-VNA
