DPRK media reports about second DPRK-USA summit for first time

Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un has departed by train for the second summit with US President Donald Trump in Hanoi next week, reported the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

Hanoi (VNA) - Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the StateAffairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) KimJong-un has departed by train for the second summit with US President DonaldTrump in Hanoi next week, reported the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

Accordingly,the train carrying the DPRK leader left Pyongyang on February 23 afternoon.

TheChairman is accompanied by senior DPRK officials, including his younger sister KimYo-jong and Vice Chairman of theWKP Central Committee Kim Yong-chol.

TheKCNA did not mention whether or not First Lady of the DPRK Ri Sol-ju isincluded in the entourage.

Thenews agency also reported that the DPRK leader will pay an official friendshipvisit to Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Partyof Vietnam Central Committee and President Nguyen Phu Trong.

Thisis the first time the DPRK media has reported about the second DPRK-USA summit,which is due to take place in the Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi on February27 and 28.-VNA
