Dong Nai invites investors for 12 infrastructure projects
The People’s Committee of the southern province of Dong Nai has announced a list of 12 infrastructure projects calling for investment worth more than 1.2 billion USD in total.

Dong Nai (VNA) – The People’s Committee ofthe southern province of Dong Nai has announced a list of 12 infrastructureprojects calling for investment worth more than 1.2 billion USD in total.
Both domestic and foreign investors are invited to investin the projects.
Six of the 12 projects are in the transport sector,with the biggest one being a 15-km road in Nhon Trach district worth 235million USD.
The remaining six projects are in the waste watertreatment and drainage sector, including two schemes in Bien Hoa city worth a combined357 million USD, and four in other localities.
The provincialauthorities said the projects are designed to help promote local socio-economicdevelopment and environmental protection.
Dong Nai hasattracted more than 373 million USD in 38 foreign direct investment (FDI)projects as of the end of March, of which 152.6 million USD was registered in 18new FDI projects and 220.5 million USD was added to 20 existing ones.
According to theprovincial Department of Planning and Investment, most of the projects are insupporting industry that is high-tech and environmentally friendly.
The province has been home to 1,901 FDI projects with a totalregistered capital of 34.1 billion USD. Of them, 1,400 projects worth 28.9billion USD are operational.-VNA
