Hanoi (VNA) –ജ Permanent Deputy Prime MinisterTruong Hoa Binh presented gifts to disadvantaged children during a Mid-AutumnFestival celebration held in Hanoi on September 28.

Speaking at the event, the official underlined that the Party and State over the years have paid attention to theprotection of, care for and development of children through legal system and policies, evidenced by the various programmes and projects on the issue now underway. He urged relevant agencies to further studya model in Hanoi and HCM City which has helped thousands of victims of abuse tostabilise their physical and mental health. Child abuse prevention and combat is a dutyof all people and violations must be strictly punished, Binh stressed. The celebration, organised by the VietnamWomen’s Union (VWU), was also part of the activities to mark the 90th foundinganniversary of the VWU and the Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20)./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
