This is part of 18 medicalequipment packages the Vietnamese ministry has planned to send toCambodia’s military medicine service this year.
At ahand-over ceremony held in the northwestern province of Preah Vihear onJune 2, Kong Saly, Head of the Health Department of the Royal CambodianArmed Forces, said the Cambodian military has greatly benefited fromthe cooperation with Vietnam’s Defence Ministry.
Over the years, the Vietnamese Ministry has come up with medicalequipment, infrastructural development funding, human resource training,free health check-ups and medicine for its Cambodian partner. It hasalso provided treatment for Cambodian officers in Vietnam.-VNA
