Danish enterprises explore Vietnamese market

HCM City (VNA) - The Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre(ITPC) and the Andersen Consult Group of Denmark co-hosted a networkingprogramme on January 10 to boost partnerships between Vietnamese and Danishenterprises.

Danish firmsevaluated Vietnam as a potential market for high-quality products such asorganic foodstuffs and machinery used in aquatic product processing andproduction.

A number ofDanish retailers also want to enter the Vietnamese market thanks to itsbig-sized population and high economic growth.

A representativefrom FynboFoods said the company’s products have high quality, competitiveprices and ensure food hygiene, therefore, it can meet various demands ofconsumers in different nations.

FynboFoods wantsto cooperate with domestic supermarkets and retailers to bring Danish foodstuffsand services to Vietnamese consumers.

Pham Thi ThuHuong, Deputy Director of Dong Phong Mechanical Company, spoke highly of Danishmechanical machines, saying that aquatic product-processing equipment ofDenmark can satisfy the requirements of such demanding markets as the US,Europe and Japan.

According toHuong, cooperating with Danish partners will offer opportunities for Vietnamesefirms to become distributors of Danish products and accessing to theirtechnologies, thus improving their products to meet the market’s demands.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
