Danish Crown Prince congratulates Vietnam on National Day

Crown Prince of Denmark Frederik congratulated Vietnam on its 77th National Day and expressed his delight at the fine development of the two countries’ relations while attending a recent get-together hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy on this occasion.

Copenhagen (VNA) – Crown Prince of Denmark Frederik congratulatedVietnam on its 77th National Day and expressed his delight at thefine development of the two countries’ relations while attending a recentget-together hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy on this occasion.

He told participants that in early November, he and CrownPrincess Mary will lead a delegation of businesses operating in green growth topay an official visit to Vietnam to promote bilateral cooperation in wind powerand the effective use of energy.

Vietnamese Ambassador Luong Thanh Nghi recalled theachievements Vietnam has gained over the past 77 years, from a poor,underdeveloped and war-torn nation to one of the most dynamic economies in theworld, an attractive destination of international tourists and investors, and aresponsible member of the international community with increasing position andreputation.

He attributed the achievements to continuous efforts ofVietnam itself and support from other countries and partners, includingDenmark.

Potential for Vietnam-Denmark bilateral cooperation remains huge, he noted,adding that the embassy will exert every effort to consolidate and deepen the Vietnam-Denmarkrelations for each country’s development and for the interests of their peopleand enterprises.

Danish State Secretary for Trade and Global Sustainability Lina Hansen affirmedthat Vietnam is currently one of Denmark’s leading important partners, and thetwo countries hold great potential to expand their cooperation in the comingtime./.
