In the first five months of this year, the bank’s loanshelped 15,668 households escape from poverty.
The bank has requested transaction points to intensifyinspections and remove unnecessary procedures to support borrowers.
The rates of disbursement, and debt and interest collectionat commune transaction points always reach over 90 percent.
During January-May, loans were totalled at 631.6 trillionVND (27.8 billion USD), reaching hands of 26,493 households.-VNA
More than 2 million households have received loans totaling 44.2 trillion VND (1.95 billion USD) from aprogramme designed to help business households in disadvantaged regions as of February 28, 2017.
The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has helped 109,462 labourers from families of disadvantaged conditions and beneficiary policies and in disadvantaged localities go to work abroad.
