Theorganiser - Sai Gon Childrens Charity (SCC) - said since its inceptionin 2001, the Cyclo Challenge has raised nearly 700,000 USD, with over21,000 participants from different companies taking part.
TimMullett, chairman of the organising committee and director of SCC,said: "It is very exciting to be celebrating the 15th anniversary of thecommunity event, which is now older than many of the kids who wesupport."
Tickets are free and give access to free food anddrinks as well as a lucky draw. There will be live music performances,plus lots of activities for children. A shop at the Flea Market featureshand-made products from local producers.
Tickets for theevent are available from March 12 to 21, and can be collected from theSaigon Childrens Charity office or at the event on the day.-VNA
According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRC), this year’s campaign provided long-term aid for 3,785 individuals and organisations.
