A delegation of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) led by Deputy General Director Nguyen Tuan Hung visited Cuba from July 28 to August 3 to further enhance the traditional friendship and cooperation with large press agencies of the Caribbean nation.

Based on the traditional relations and special solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba, the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and Cuban news agency Prensa Latina (PL) have maintained practical and effective co-operation for decades and stand ready to support each other in overcoming difficulties and challenges.

Suchel TBV S.A., a joint venture between Vietnam and Cuba, was approved by the Cuban Government to build a detergent plant in the Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM), according to the Cuban News Agency (ACN).
