Cuba wants to learn Vietnam’s experience in judicial reform: official

He also briefedLe on Cuba’s significant achievements in judicial reform, including thebuilding of a new constitution which received high consensus from the Cubanpeople in the recent constitutional referendum.
The Cubanofficial also affirmed that Cuba wants to learn from Vietnam’s experience to revisethe constitution, as well as enhance financial self-reliance anddecision-making for local authorities through the model of provincial People’sCouncil.
For her part, Lethanked Cuba for its support and contributions to the revolutionary cause aswell as national construction and development of Vietnam, stressing that thesound bilateral relations have been strengthened by Party and State leaders ofboth nations through various visits and activities.
She also informedthe Cuban delegation about HCM City’s socio-economic development and activitiesof the municipal People’s Council and its relations with central agencies.-VNA
