Hanoi (VNA) – The Comprehensive andProgressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and relevantdocuments will be submitted to the National Assembly (NA) on November 2.

In the morning, President Nguyen Phu Trong will presenta proposal for the parliament’s ratification of the CPTPP and relevantdocuments, followed by a report explaining the pact in details delivered byDeputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.

Chairman of the NA’s Committee for ExternalRelations Nguyen Van Giau will present a report verifying the ratification.

After that, lawmakers will have groupdiscussions about this issue.

In the afternoon, NA deputies will scrutinizethe draft revised law amending and supplementing the laws related to planning.

The draft law aims to ensure the relevant laws’consistency with the Law on Planning and ensure that regulations on planningwill take effect at the same time with the Law on Planning, which is scheduledto come into force on January 1, 2019.-VNA
