Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded 4,892 cases ofCOVID-19 on October 28, up 472 cases from the previous day, according to theMinistry of Health.
HCM City recorded the highest number ofinfections with 1,069, followed by neighbouring province of Dong Nai with 745 andBinh Duong province with 618.
The national tally now stands at 905,477.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 2,687 patientsnationwide are in serious conditions, with 319 requiring invasiveventilation and 20 on life support (ECMO).
On the day, the country saw 54 deaths from thedisease. The death toll now hits 21,910.
A further 1,649 patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number ofrecoveries to 813,963.
By October 28, the country had injected over 77.14million doses of vaccines to date, with more than 22.62 million peoplenow fully inoculated./.
