COVID-19: New cases on November 6 top 7,491

Vietnam recorded 7,491 infections of COVID-19, including 11 imported cases, in 55 localities in the past 24 hours to 4pm on November 6, according to the Ministry of Health.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded 7,491 infections of COVID-19,including 11 imported cases, in 55 localities in the past 24 hours to 4pm on November6, according to the Ministry of Health.

Southern Dong Nai province recorded the highest number of infections with 1,085,followed by Ho Chi Minh City with 986 and Binh Duong with 921.

The national tally nowstands at 961,038.

According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 3,235 patients nationwide are inserious conditions, with 300 requiring invasive ventilation and 13 on lifesupport (ECMO).

On the day, the country saw 58 deaths from the disease. The death toll now hits22,470.

A further 1,754patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number of recoveries to 839,101.

By November 5, the country had injected over88.40 million doses of vaccines to date, with more than 28.14million people now fully inoculated./.
