Construction of Vietnam’s first innovation park starts in Binh Dinh

The Ho Chi Minh City-based TMA Solutions company on August 28 began the construction of the TMA innovation park in Quy Nhon city of the central province of Binh Dinh, the first of its kind in Vietnam.

Binh Dinh (VNA) –♔ The Ho ChiMinh City-based TMA Solutions company on August 28 began the construction ofthe TMA innovation park in Quy Nhon city of the central province of Binh Dinh,the first of its kind in Vietnam.

Covering an area of 15ha in Quy Hoa valley,the park has an investment of about 8 million USD. It will comprise a centrefor software production and export, along with others for research and development,data science, artificial intelligence and internet of things (IoT). Chairman of TMA Solutions Nguyen Huu Lesaid the construction of the park will be divided into two phases and it isexpected to become operational after three years. The park is projected to have3,000 skilled workers in the next 15 years. Secretary of the provincial Party CommitteeNguyen Thanh Tung voiced his hope that the investment of TMA Solutions in QuyHoa valley will help to lure more software companies to Binh Dinh. Launched in August 2013, Quy Hoa valley isset to become the first science city of Vietnam. To date, it has welcomed morethan 3,500 scientists from 35 countries and territories. Each year, the valleyhosts various conferences and symposia of the International Centre for InterdisciplinaryScience and Education.-VNA

ꦉ Vietnam launches six 4.0 technology training and talent networks

The networks bring together universities, research institutes and domestic and foreign businesses. Vietnam has issued many key policies to support semiconductor development, notably the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. Other initiatives include the Semiconductor Industry Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2050, and the Human Resources Development Programme for the Semiconductor Industry.
