Chinese Party, State leader to visit Vietnam next week

Hanoi (VNA) – General Secretary of the Communist Party of ChinaCentral Committee and President of China Xi Jinping and his spouse arescheduled to make a State visit to Vietnam on December 12-13.
The visit will be made at the invitation of General Secretary of theCommunist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong and his spouse, and President Vo Van Thuong and his spouse, according to the CPV Central Committee's Commission for External Relations./.
Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Hoang Cong Thuy hosted a reception for Liu Xiaokai, President of the Yunnan province's Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, in Hanoi on November 13.
The 15th Meeting of the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation was held in Hanoi on December 1 under the co-chair of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Politburo member, Director of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Foreign Affairs Commission Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi.
