According to the Hanoi Department of Health,the number of new dengue fever cases amounted to 448 from November 13 to 19.
From the beginning of 2017, the capital hasrecorded 36,793 dengue fever cases, causing seven deaths. The city now has 113dengue fever outbreaks.-VNA
More than 148,260 cases of dengue fever have been reported across the country since the outbreak began earlier this year, of which 30 people have lost their lives.
Hanoi has put 95.31 percent of dengue hotbeds under control with no new infections in a 14 day period, while the other 240 remained active, according to statistics from the city’s Department of Health.
The number of new dengue fever infections nationwide has dropped for eight consecutive weeks, announced the General Department of Preventive Medicine under the Health Ministry on October 26.
