Canadian institutions to hold education fairs in Vietnam

More than 70 institutions from across Canada will participate in the 3rd Annual Canada Education Week later this month in Vietnam .
More than 70 institutions from across Canada will participate in the3rd Annual Canada Education Week later this month in Vietnam .

The highlight of the week-long event, which will be organised by theConsulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City, the Embassy of Canadain Hanoi, and Canadian Education International (CEI), will be threeeducation fairs which will take place at the Intercontinental hotel inHo Chi Minh City on October 23, Da Nang University on October 26 and theGrand Plaza Hotel in Hanoi on October 29.

Visitors to theevent will have a chance to meet representatives from over 70 Canadianinstitutions and explore scholarship opportunities.

As a partof the event, a seminar will be held to provide participants withinformation about study permit procedures, the Canadian education systemand specific opportunities offered to international students in eachprovince./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
