Can Tho hosts 6th Congress of Vietnamese Catholics
The Can Tho chapter of t he Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) held the 6th Congress of Vietnamese Catholics for National Construction and Defence, bringing together 230 local outstanding dignitaries.

The congress elected an executivecommittee of the CSVC’s Can Tho chapter for the 2014-2019 tenure with 90members. Priest Phan Dinh Son was re-elected as Chairman of thecommittee.
The congress drew orientations and tasks for thecommittee in the 2014-2019 tenure, calling on Vietnamese Catholicfollower to further contribute to the goal of wealthy people, a strong,democratic, equal and civilised country, as well as efforts to build andprotect peace, independence and national sovereignty./.
