HCM City (VNA)💫 - More than 7,000 people with disabilities in Ho Chi Minh City and neighbouring provinces took part in the 2015 Camp for Disabled People at the Suoi Tien Cultural Tourist Park in HCM City on November 28.

Organised by the city's Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in cooperation with its partners, the 16th event is part of the city's cultural and charity activities to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3). It included cultural programmes and games. More than 500 volunteers participated to support the participants during the camp. Dozens of local and foreign organisations and companies have donated over 1.9 billion VND (86,000 USD) for the event.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
