Hanoi (VNA) – TheCambodian government has decided to extend foreigners’ stay at AngkorArcheological Park in the northern province of Siem Reap, about 300km from thecapital city of Phnom Penh.
In a letter sent to a leaderof Angkor Enterprise on February 25, the Cambodian Ministry of Economy andFinance said the one-day ticket priced at 37 USD each will be extended to twodays, the 62 USD three-day tickets will be valid for five days, and the 72 USDseven-day tickets used for 10 days.
The new decision will takeeffect within four months, starting from February 25.
Touristarrivals at the world-famous Angkor Archaeological Park saw a 15 percentdecrease last year, but the government said it has mapped out a plan to addressthe problem.
