Businesses bring their gifts to Hanoi show

As many as 230 handicraft businesses from 23 provinces and cities nationwide are displaying their wares at the Hanoi Gift Show 2013, which opened in Hanoi on October 26.
As many as 230 handicraft businesses from 23 provinces and citiesnationwide are displaying their wares at the Hanoi Gift Show 2013, whichopened in Hanoi on October 26.

Organised by themunicipal Department of Industry and Trade, the four-day event alsoattracted several businesses from Thailand and Taiwan.

On showcase are handicraft and fine art products, interior and exteriordecorations, furniture, textile and embroidered products, gifts andjewelry.

In addition, the event also introduces productsmanufactured by participating villages in the “One Tambon, One Product”movement deployed in several Asian countries such as Vietnam ,Thailand , Malaysia , Laos, Japan and India .

About 500-600 importers from the United States , Europe Union, Japan,and Australia are expected to come to the s how to seek suppliers.

As part of the city’s efforts to lure more foreign importersto the event and facilitate their business during the fair, theimporters will be provided with free accommodations and transport fromthe airport to the city.-VNA

𒆙 Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
