Binh Thuan (VNA)🐼 – The central province of Binh Thuan has fulfilled the target of universalising preschool education for five-year-old children, said a working team from the Ministry of Education and Training on May 12.

Since 2011, the locality has mobilised all resources to build nursery schools, upgrade equipment and improve education quality.
The province now houses 182 kindergartens covering all of its communes, wards and towns, compared to 168 in the 2010-2011 school year, with nearly 1,700 well-constructed classes.
Notably, the number of children attending schools is on the rise with nearly 49,700 enrolled in the 2014-2015 academic year, compared to about 45,000 in 2010-2011. The locality has paid attention to supporting children from ethnic minority groups and those in disadvantaged areas, as well as teacher training.-VNA
