Speaking at the event, Chairman of the provincialPeople’s Committee Vo Van Minh said Binh Duong lies in the southeast of Vietnamand in the centre of the southern key economic region comprising Ho Chi MinhCity, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Long Anand Tien Giang.
As one of the localities with high growth and dynamic industrialdevelopment, Binh Duong is now home to over 4,000 projects by foreigninvestors, including more than 800 Korean investors in key fields ofelectricity, electronics, support industry, precision engineering, medicalequipment, food processing, apparel, leather and footwear.
The province has so far established bilateral ties with 10cities and provinces worldwide and is also an official member of prestigiousmultilateral organisations such as the WorldTechnopolis Association(WTA) and the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF).
