Binh Dinh (VNA)🉐 – An international scientific conference entitled “Mechanobilology: from molecules to tissue” opened in Quy Nhon city of the south central province of Binh Dinh on June 27.
Jointly organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Rencontres du Vietnam, the event saw the participation of over 100 professors and scientists from 19 countries and territories worldwide.
According to Chairman of the Rencontres du Vietnam Tran Thanh Van, the conference will cover the fundamentals of mechanobiology and recent advances and emerging issues related to the field.
It also provides an opportunity for scientists to meet and exchange with each other and announce their latest research studies as well as enhance cooperation, he said, adding that the event is expected to help bolster the friendship and collaboration between Vietnam and other countries.

The ninth “Meet Vietnam”, which is underway in the central province of Binh Dinh with a series of important events, is considered an ideal chance for young Vietnamese scientists to meet and learn about each other’s experience in scientific research.
Seventy astrophysicists from 20 countries and territories around the world are gathering in Quy Nhon city, the central province of Binh Dinh, for an international workshop on extra-solar planets that kicked off on April 21.
Around 150 domestic and foreign scientists, including several Nobel laureates, will attend a conference on fundamental sciences and society scheduled for July.
VietNEST (Vietnamese Nurturing Education for Science & Traditions) is a mobile app and digital platform for Vietnamese language learning among overseas children.
The networks bring together universities, research institutes and domestic and foreign businesses. Members will work closely in training, research, and technology transfer by sharing curricula, improving faculty capacity, providing access to laboratories and research facilities, and jointly implementing science and technology projects.

According to Cushman & Wakefield’s latest Asia-Pacific Data Centre Investment Landscape report, Vietnam now ranks second in the region for data centre investment returns, with a yield on cost (YoC) of 17.5–18.8%, just behind Singapore’s 21–23%.
Vietnam is taking drastic yet cautious steps in building a culture of nuclear safety and security, with the aim of having its first nuclear power plant operational by the end of 2030 and using this specific energy source effectively and sustainably.

Under the theme “Breakthrough Era with the Development of Industrial Internet”, the event gathered over 400 delegates, including senior officials, leading Internet experts, and technology engineers from Vietnam and abroad.
