Ben Tre (VNA) – Poor people and social policy beneficiaries in the southern province of Ben Tre will get financial support to build houses as gifts from the Da Nang-based Bac Nam 79 Construction Join Stock Company.
The company’s leaders granted 5 billion VND (225,000 USD) in cash to the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front committee for this purpose at a ceremony held in the locality on February 1.
Attending the event, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan hailed the company for assisting social welfare work in the province.
She also praised businesses for joining efforts with the Party, Government, and National Assembly in taking care of underprivileged people.
