HCM City (VNA) - 🉐Guided missile corvette BNS Prottoy (F112) of the Bangladesh Navy anchoredat Sai Gon port on April 8, beginning its four-day friendship visit to Ho ChiMinh City.
Thevisit aims to enhance cooperation, mutual understanding and trust of the Vietnameseand Bangladeshi armies and naval forces in particular. Theship, with 23 officers and 116 sailors on board, is captained by Colonel MirzaMohammad Mehedi Hassan. Duringthe visit, commanders of the ship are scheduled to pay courtesy visits to HCMCity’s leaders and the High Command of Navy Region 2. The two sides willexchange experiences in some fields of mutual concern. Inaddition, the ship’s crew members will participate in sport activities withofficers and soldiers of the High Command of Navy Region 2, as well as joinsight-seeing trips to HCM City’s historical relics and tourist attractions.-VNA
