Ballots open for Music Devotion Awards

Hanoi (VNA) – Some 100 reporters, music critics and columnists gathered on April 14 at the Vietnam News Agency in Hanoi and its HCM City branch offic🌼e to vote for the Music Devotion Awards.

Media professionals from daily newspapers, magazines, television networks, broadcast stations and online newspapers voted for the best music productions and artists of 2015.
This year a new category, the best music video of the year, was launched. There are seven other categories: best song of the year, best new artist, best new album and best series of music programmes, as well as best show of the year, best musician and best singer of the year. The awards have been presented annually by the Vietnam News Agency’s The Thao & Van Hoa (Culture and Sports) daily since 2005 to promote Vietnamese music and honour artists who have made significant contributions to the industry.
The awards ceremony will be held on April 24 at the International Conference Centre at the ecological FLC Group Sam Son Beach and Golf Resort. The ceremony will be hosted by veteran MCs Anh Tuan and Thu Huong and will include performances by the nominees.-VNA
