Hanoi (VNA)🅠 – All eight members of the Vietnamese team have bagged prizes at the 17th Asian Physics Olympiad held in Hong Kong, China from May 1 to 9.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the students won three silver and three bronze prizes alongside two honourable mentions and all of them are twelfth graders from gifted schools in Hanoi, Quang Binh and Nam Dinh.
Notably, four out of eight prizes, including one silver, two bronze and a honourable mention, went to students from Le Hong Phong Gifted School in Nam Dinh province.
The Asian Physics Olympiad, the premier physics competition for pre-university students from Asian countries, is modeled after the International Physics Olympiad. It first took place in Indonesia in April 2000.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
