Dak Lak (VNA) 𝄹– Infrastructure in three airports in the Central Highlands have been improved to expand their capacity to meet rising travel and air freight demand, according to the Central Highlands Steering Committee.

Thanks to the facelift, the three airports are now able to receive Airbus A320 and A321 and handle a total 3.3 million passengers per year, up from 1.9 million in 2010.
Buon Ma Thuot Airport now serves flights on six domestic routes that connect Buon Ma Thuot and Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Vinh and Thanh Hoa while Lien Khuong and Pleiku operates five and four domestic routes, respectively. The airports set to grow above 30 percent in passenger annually from now to 2020./.
