♛ - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam hosted a reception in Hanoi on April 28 for Secretary General of the ruling Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) Party Chakil Aboobabcar, who is on a working visit to Vietnam and attending the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

- State President Luong Cuong hosted a reception in Hanoi on April 28 morning for Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru, who is on a three-day official visit to Vietnam.

President Cuong, on behalf of the State and people of Vietnam, welcomed PM Ishiba's first visit to Vietnam as head of the Japanese Government.
