Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamese aerobic athletes grabbed one gold, foursilver and two bronze medals from the FIG World Cup Series Tokyo Internationalwhich closed on April 23.

Nguyen Che Thanh pocketed his title in the boys’ 15-17 age group. His teammateBui Minh Phuong stood second in the girls’ pool.

Three other silvers went to duo Phan The Gia Hien and Tran Ha Vi (15-17category); group of three (15-17 category) and group of five (above 18).

The only bronze went to Pham Nhat Phuong Trinh in the girls’ individual 15-17age category.

The two-day World Cup drew participants from 15 countries, includingpowerhouses such as China, France, the Democratic People’s Republic of Koreaand the Philippines.

They competed in two divisions for seniors (five categories) and age groups(eight categories).-VNA
