Hanoi(VNA) – A wide range of advertising and printing equipment and technologies areon display at two exhibitions which opened in Hanoi on March 15.

This is the first time the VietnamInternational Advertising Equipment and Technology Exhibition (VietAd 2017) hasbeen combined with the Vietnam International Packing and Label PrintingExhibition.

On 180 booths at the events are latest technologies and equipment used foradvertising and printing industries like printers, LED signs, LED decorationand industrial LED panels, among others.

Nguyen Truong Son, GeneralSecretary of the Vietnam Advertising Association, said the advertisingequipment and technology fair, the eight of its kind in Vietnam, offers a goodchance for advertising businesses to seek partnerships.

Deputy Minister of Culture,Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai said the advertising industry has developedquickly in recent years but has not yet met the demand.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
