Hanoi (VNA) –  An additional medicaltraining course for the level-2 field hospital No.4 opened in Hanoi on November10.

🍸 The course is organised at the request of the United Nations toequip the Vietnamese medical staff with necessary medical knowledge and skills,especially response to medical emergencies, diagnosis and treatment of commondiseases, before they depart for the UN Mission in South Sudan.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of theMilitary Medical University Maj. Gen Nguyen Truong Giang asked staff of the hospitalto not only improve their professional expertise but also foreign languages andphysical health to meet working requirements, especially in areas with adverseweather conditions. Duringthe course till November 21, they will be trained in medical expertise, foreignlanguage and first aid techniques./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
