Additional 260 COVID-19 infections recorded on July 4 morning
Vietnam detected another 260 cases of COVID-19, including six imported, in the past 6 hours to 12pm on July 4, raising the national count to 19,570, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam detected another 260 cases ofCOVID-19, including six imported, in the past 6 hours to 12pm on July 4,raising the national count to 19,570, according to the Ministry of Health(MoH).
Among the locally-infected cases, 213 were found in Ho Chi Minh City, 11 inBinh Duong, 10 in Phu Yen, five in Long An, four in Binh Dinh, two each in VinhLong, Hai Phong, Bac Giang and Tay Ninh, and one each in Ninh Thuan, Ha Tinhand Tra Vinh.
Vietnam has to date logged 17,716 local and 1,854 imported cases. A total of16,146 cases have been detected since the fourth coronavirus wave hit thecountry on April 27.
Fifteen provinces have gone through 14 consecutive days without new infectionsin the community, namely Yen Bai, Quang Tri, Thua Thien – Hue, Tuyen Quang, SonLa, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, PhuTho, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh and Quang Nam.
The MoH said as many as 7,643 COVID-19 patients have been given the all-clearso far.
Among patients under treatment, 313 have tested negative forthe&n𒁏bsp;coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 once, 132 twice and 74 thrice./.
Despite impacts from two waves of COVID-19 outbreaks in the first half of this year, especially on industrial hubs, Vietnam still posted gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 5.64 percent and its export revenue rose 28.4 percent over the same period last year.
