24 countries, territories in line for Vietnam tourism mart

Travel agents, tour operators and hotels from 24 nations and territories will showcase their products and services at 141 booths during the 2015 Vietnam International Tourism Mart (VITM), scheduled for April 3-6 in Hanoi.

This year’s event will feature 355booths of Vietnamese travel agencies, hotels, tourism offices andairlines, as released at a press conference in Hanoi on March 18.

Themed “Vietnam – The Land of Heritages”, the third VITM 2015 intendsto popularise Vietnam’s UNESCO heritage sites and other places ofattraction to more travellers at home and abroad.

A series of activities, including seminars, cultural performances andtraditional culinary demonstrations, will be organised during thebiggest international tourism event of the year in Vietnam.

On this occasion, airlines also plan to offer around 15,000 discounttickets, priced from 190,000 VND (8.93 USD) for international flightsand from 333,000 VND (15.50 USD) for domestic flights.

Also on offer are 8,000 tours with discounts up to 50 percent, 600hotel and restaurant coupons, and a variety of lucky draws.-VNA
