Hanoi (VNA) – The 2018 Xuan (Spring) Giang Vo trade fair is scheduled to be held atthe Culture Friendship Palace in Hanoi from February 6 to 12. This year’s tradefair, co-organised by the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Centre and the VietnamBeverage Association, will feature 600 booths of more than 350 businessesnationwide, covering a total area of nearly 6,000 square metres. On display will bespecialties of various localities across the country, such as fish sauce, teaand fresh farm produce, along with such products as garment-textile, footwear,household appliances, confectionery and beverages. In addition, theevent also introduces products from other countries including Russia, theRepublic of Korea, the UK, France and Belgium, among others. An outdoor area displayingbeverages will also be set up at the fair with the participation of leadingbusinesses of the sector like the SaigonBeer, Alcohol and Beverage Corporation (Sabeco), the Hanoi Beer, Alcohol andBeverage Corporation (Habeco) and the Coca-Cola Vietnam. The organising board said it has worked with authorisedagencies to supervise products’ origin and quality to ensure food safety at theevent.-VNA
