HCM City (VNA) –🦩 The 2018 Happy Tet Fair opened at the Saigon Exhibition and ConventionCentre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on January 31 with more than 300 booths ofprestigious domestic and international brands.

On showcase are notonly Vietnamese specialties in Tet (Lunar New Year), but also numerous productsincluding food, organic milk, cosmetics and household appliances from Thailand,Japan and the Republic of Korea, among others.

Visitors have a chance to enjoy discounts of up to 50 percent. Many travelagencies offer Tet tours on theoccasion with attractive gifts and vouchers.

ꦯ SECC General Director Thuong My An said the fair aims to introduce high qualityproducts at reasonable prices to consumers. Dishes from various regions of thecountry are also served at the event, she added.

The fair runs untilFebruary 4 and is expected to welcome more than 40,000 domestic and foreignvisitors.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
